Get back time

Been ages that I published my first blog in 2004. The world has moved a million miles since then.

Just trying to take a small step, towards getting back to where I left by reposting again.

Awesome drive to office today morning!! 20 Kms in 20 Mins. Thats how we studied Time, Speed & Distance. Speed = 60 Kmph, so in 20 mins. you cover?

The India Gate round about looked so beautiful & quiet, trees showering leaves in my welcome, the melodious voice of koel coming from the trees. Sometimes... Delhi is a really beautiful city. 

Drivers in Delhi still seem to be under the influence of bhaang. Driving erratically... braking suddenly on a 80 Kmph road, trying to squeeze into on roundabouts, no turn singals... still inebriated I guess.

Some people I admire gave me a very good idea to write travelogues. So, starting it from today. Hopefully I would improve with time.

Drove to office today morning. There was slight traffic on the roads, and suddenly there were too many slow drivers also on the roads. Summers are making an onset, so had to switch on the AC momentarily. The road outside Bhairon Mandir was dug up long back, but has not been leveled till date. NDMC has left the job for the motorists to finish.

No high points of my drive today. Just a bunch of slowmos driving at 30 Kmph amongst 60 Kmph traffic.

Parked at Patel Chowk Metro Station, and I think I have a flat tyre. Shall see to it in the evening. 

Trip to West Bengal

I went on a recent trip to West Bengal in May end. Going there was the fun part. When I reached there by the Bhubaneshwar Rajdhani, it was the hot, sultry and humid weather which welcomed us there.

About a week of fun, travelling through remote villages, staying in a house right next to a railway line. Ever since I was a child I used to wonder while travelling in a train and looking out of the window, what do people living by the railway track think about people sitting in the train. To this I realized, they think nothing. For them it has no real meaning. All they count or bother to think is which local or express just chugged by.

When you are travelling with family and meeting your extended family, you are forced to encounter a variety of emotions. Some make you comfy, some leave you irritated. What I was considering as a good break from my hectic schedule, at times turned to be a collection of most annoying emotional dramas.

Finally, we took a far better Sealdah Rajdhani back to Delhi. It felt like home again.

Force India F1 is a Formula One motor racing team. The team was formed in October 2007, when a consortium led by Vijay Mallya and Michiel Mol bought the Spyker F1 team for € 88 million.

Force India F1 represents increased Indian participation within Formula One, with Delhi all set to host the first ever Indian Grand Prix in 2010. The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile confirmed the change in name from Spyker to Force India on 24th October 2007.
